trip to tyler, tx

A few weeks ago we took our little family on a road trip to the big city of Tyler, Texas.  We got to spend some time with our sweet friends the Yarbroughs and had a great time. Laci and I were roommates all 4 years of college.  We always have a lot of fun together, and it was so neat to see our kids play together.

the book eater

We are still very into biting/chewing on pretty much everything we get our little hands on.

Take this book for example.  

Notice anything strange?  

Some of the animals are missing their ears.  

And this one we pretty much destroyed.  

B says that's because it was weird.  

Evidently the mouse is British and calls the bathroom 'the loo'.  

(It's also a little strange to see the mouse drop it's pants)

E is still surprising us every day.  He tries to snap, and has started doing a 'raise the roof' dance move - its hilarious.  Yesterday he turned the knob and opened a door, which we didn't know he could do yet.  And he loves giving treats to the dogs.

18 months!

our sweet little boy is 18 months old today! we can hardly remember when he was this small!

we are so thankful for him and all the joy the Lord has added to our lives through him.

mom!  I'm so glad you and dad came home from vacation!  did you bring me a present?

what do you mean all you got me was this t-shirt with some fish on it?!?  

that is very disappointing. I think I will throw a fit now.
