New York day 1

So, B and I went to NYC for a weekend to celebrate my big 3-0 birthday.  Yes, that was 2 months ago and I'm just now posting pictures.  Oops.

Here's a look at Day 1.  After we checked into our hotel, we walked down 5th Ave and did a some sight seeing and shopping.

This is a picture of the Hollister store and the real models in the entryway as you walk in. 

It's hard to get a passerby to take a good picture. :)

Then we headed toward Times Square 

and went for some dinner at Patzeria Perfect Pizza.  It was a tiny hole in the wall and delish.

then we went to Trump tower for some dessert at Jean George 

we ordered the chocolate tasting menu.  everything was tiny, but fabulous.  

and that's the end of Day 1!

green by Ted Dekker.  his books are really good - very visual.  Christian fiction

crazy love by francis chan.  read this in small group - great discussion topics.

 

this is one of those books that you HAVE to finish.  (warning: there are some violent images)

 

she has some great ideas (although I don't agree with everything).  very helpful.
