We are those crazy people that throw their one year old a birthday party. ;)
Before everyone got there he tried to break into one of his gifts.
lots of his friends came to celebrate
E was a little unsure of all the people and noise going on at first, but he handled it well.
Then, when it came time for cake and presents he was totally on board.
Our little sheltered child who's diet has consisted of fruit, vegetables, and cheerios, was a little surprised by us giving him a whole cake to himself.
but it didn't take him long to get the hang of it.
after this we had a wardrobe change...
he got so many thoughtful gifts and was so excited!
and just couldn't wait for dad to take everything out of the box to play with it
now that's better.

What I find hilarious is the Obama chia pet in the background! I'm sure E loved that one :) It must be his favorite.
